Introduction

Viet Nam dmz tour will bring you back to the time of the Viet Nam war by a day trip to Dmz with visit to the historical and war sites including Khe Sanh Combat Base, Vinh Moc Tunnel and 17th Parallel. The trip is the chance for you to get knowledge about the war and understand the indomitable spirit of Vietnamese people.

AM: At 8:00 am our guide and driver welcome you at hotel in Hue city and transfer to Quang Tri Province which is 110 kms far from the city of Hue. You will visit Hien Luong Bridge and the 17th Parallel which was the border divided Vietnam into the North and the South with two different governments. Take a visit at Ben Hai River History Museum which exhibits many objects, artifacts, and documents of the war. Transfer to visit Vinh Moc Tunnel which is an underground network of tunnel built by villagers and used as the shelter to avoid bombings during the American War, including wells, kitchens, classrooms and spaces for healthcare. Take time to relax at Cua Tung Beach nearby to enjoy the fresh air. Travel back to Dong Ha town and have lunch at restaurant.

PM: This afternoon you continue your trip along National Route 9 and reach Khe Sanh Combat Base, you will visit the former marine base Ta Con airport to see the ruins of helicopters, tanks used during the war. You will travel through Dakrong Bridge and have chance to meet minority people of Van Kieu. Transfer back to Hue city and end the tour at your hotel.
