- Thai Hoa Palace was built in 1805 by the structure of the general architecture of the typical palaces of Nguyen dynasty built in Hue in the 19th century. On the surface of 1,300m2, the Palace includes the front and back houses located on the same platform and connected with each other. The main house in the back is the main one where the throne was laid, about 43,3m long, 30,3m wide.

- Thai Hoa Palace is the most important construction in Hue Citadel, was the site for serious festive occasions such as Grand Meetings the Coronation Ceremony, Emperor’s Birthday Anniversary, Ambassador Interview Ceremony.
